Dubai Customs engaged D&B TransUnion ADC to build an expert scoring model that would support the evaluation of level of compliance of various commercial entities that are registered under the VAT framework. This Scoring Model was built to help the administration to minimize fraud, filter highly non-compliant tax payers, expedite compliant taxpayer requests, promote fairness and manage risks. |

Project on Expert Scoring Model was focused on developing an expert credit scoring model to reflect the risk of non-compliance of entities that are in the VAT framework.
The design of the model enables Dubai Customs to automate the entire rating process without manual intervention thereby significantly reducing the time taken for rating. The project facilitates the VAT authorities to take decisions regarding the registration of the client, identify non-compliant tax payers for increased scrutiny and compliant taxpayers for expediting their request.
